The industrial group Les Manufactures Février counts with wood-processing plants : peeling, plywood and molded wood manufacturing. Les Bonnes Chaises is a brand of the group, offering moulded plywood indoor design furniture, made from sourced wood, coming from sustainably managed French forests.

A graduate of the School of Fine Arts of Bordeaux, Christian Désile is a great passionate about design. He began publishing his achievements in 2005, and took the laurels at the fairs. He unveiled his first folding chair prototype, his flagship creation, at the Biennale de la Cité du Design in St Etienne in 2008 and immediatly started a partnership with the Belgian publisher of design furniture VANGE. During the fair Maison & Objet 2009, the seat has been awarded the Découverte Design Now and the IDEAT press prizes.
Last year, the designer and Les Manufactures Février have just signed a partnership, for producing the chair INFINE in the industrial group's factories.

INFINE
The folding-chair designed by Christian Désile in 2008, is an original, smart and practical seat which is perfectly suitable for flexible and versatile workspaces. Indeed, this functional item will help to save time, space and to deal with unexpected events. Offices, hospitality industry, event organization, sport and leisure, entertainment, schools... there are many areas of activity in which INFINE can quickly become essential.
INFINE design celebrates wood-cutting art mastery. To be machined, the chair only needs a single digital cut in a single wood panel. Once folded, the seat can be used as a table by resting on trestles. A smart design and, as a corollary, low nuisances manufacturing process and optimization of falls and handling.
Extra flat, INFINE is only 24 mm thick when folded, which is much less than any standard folding chair. However, it can withstand up to 250 kg. The ingenious folding system makes it easy and quick to open and it can also be opened on both sides.
The chair can be hung on the wall or stored in a rack with wheels, which can accomodate 24 chairs. It is the most compact storage rack on the market: 55 x 57 x 90 cm.
Aesthetically, INFINE is really a beautiful object, sober styling, with fluid and clean lines highlighting wood nobility and genuineness. The chair is made of multiplex beech board, peeled in France, at LMF wood-plant, customizable on request and available in various colors.
