TecSOM dresses the floors of the exhibition "A Landscape of Excellence"
TecSOM, the first French designer of triple-certified textile flooring, has been selected by the organizers of the exhibition "A Landscape of Excellence". This event is dedicated to three figures on the contemporary architecture scene: Frédéric BOREL, Marc BARANI and the duo Jean-marc IBOS & Myrto VITART, each distinguished by the National Award for Architecture.
Although these three arquitects belong to the same generation, they have very different approaches: sculptural and scripted for BOREL, horizontal and territorial for BARANI and geometric and adjusted for IBOS &VITART.
As supplier of the exhibition, TecSOM dresses the floor of the spaces dedicated to MARC BARANI and FREDERIC BOREL, with Tapisom 600 needlepunched collection, over a total 370 sqm area.
Frédéric Borel presents his works through drawings, models and videos. The scenography is divided into three themes: figures, objects and landscapes. Three fundamental basis that characterize his architectural approach.
In MARC BARANI exhibition, TAPISOM 600, color grey (ref 016) enhances the space where six screens cover the walls in 360 degree mode reveal the architect's creations. Structural details and aerial view allow visitors to immerse themselves in a universe where sound and image mix together, providing a unique experience.
The last part of the exhibition devoted to d'IBOS & VITART, presents on the ground luminous screens displaying numerous photos of projects led by the duo through a specific visual device.
TapiSOM needlepunch collection is the TecSOM brand historical product. Inherited from the SOMMER techniques, this solid textile, is composed of several layers of superposed fibers. These fibers are intertwined and compacted together using special needles. This unique technique gives the product density and strength.
Famous for its extreme endurance, TAPISOM 600 collection provides elegance to hard-traffic areas. Its base made up of 100 % recycled fiber makes it a force for the projects with strong environmental dimension.
