Two years after the last time it was held, Workspace Expo, Europe’s second largest exhibition in the office furniture and furnishings sector, has reopened its doors on 5, 6 and 7 October, to the great satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors. With 300 brands on display and about 20,000 visitors over the three days, from all over France and abroad, the show was a complete success.
Sustainable technology, flex office, comfort, nature and health, are the emerging trends of Workspace expo 2021. Proof of this are the three winners of the Innovation Awards: System 180, in furniture category, with the range of mobile storage dividers Partiline, Oberflex, in fittings solution category, with Super Organic, an eco-friendly wall covering starring plants and, in technology category, Roomz Display with a wireless meeting room booking screen that incorporates an organic photovoltaic module.
In short, a fair teeming with ideas and novelties at all levels, functional, decorative and technological. The office textile flooring sector was represented by TecSOM, Interface, Shaw Contract, Balsan, Tarkett-Desso, Ege Carpets and Modulyss.
TecSOM was at a conspicuous place, on a clear and colorful booth, animated by our dedicated team of enthusiasts, and gathered large number of people, customers or curious, professionals or novices, who discovered our latest innovation with great interest and in a very good atmosphere.
Made in France, French touch and tailor-made carpeting
While the focus has been on TecSOM products, our stand has also presented all the productions of Les Manufactures Février, including professional furniture made from 100% French wood. It should be noted that the preference for products made in France, a guarantee of style and quality, is growing significantly.
Custom-made carpet captured the hearts of visitors! Our showfloor has been installed with two TecSOM multi-loop pile collections with custom colors specially developed according to our customers' guidelines: a bright orange LINEAR SPIRIT and a grey and orange EVOLUTION E'SQUARE (black and orange 00259 in the catalog).
Our customers are talented and we are always delighted to help with our special development service, whether for the purpose of colour or structure.

We took advantage of the show to launch two of our latest innovations, developed by our R&D laboratory in an eco-design approach.
First of all, our new TEX backing, made entirely of needled recycled fibres, which has generated a lot of interest. This new generation textile backing is an option applicable to all our collections, and our visitors were pleasantly surprised by the fact that beyond its undeniable ecological qualities, this product shows high-level technical performance.
Secondly, we unveiled to the public our new ELITE collection made with 100% regenerated ECONYL yarns, and mounted on a TEX backing. This unique range, entirely of textile fabric made from recycled material, offered in a palette of cheerful and sparkling colors, greatly impressed our visitors.
