Design Spa Hotel Levi is located in the Levi tourist resort, in the extreme north of Finland. Inspired by lappish landscapes which are sculpted by the Force of Nature and bathed in Arctic light, inner and outer architecture of this luxury hotel is a true jewel of artistic creativity. An architectural work of art
Interior has been designed by PAVE Architects in the purest contemporary Nordic style and celebrates art and nature. In a comfortable, functional and refined way, interior space is furnished with many art items like sculpture and auteur photographies. Even interior illuminating is a decorative component. Spatial arrangement is specially designed in order to vibrate in harmony with the majestic beauty of snowy peaks that can be seen through the wide windows. The result is unique and magical.
TecSOM finalizes the flooring design accent
TecSOM found a treasured place in this dream place for designers thanks to the exclusive partnership agreement in Finland with Matto Nurminen.
1410 sqm of TecSOM Ombre collection, colour 139, have been installed in the rooms. This high quality structured tuft with a very decorative pattern whose design evokes snowflakes, gives the space relief and a cosy atmosphere. The product acoustic performances (25 dB), resistance and ease of maintenance make it the perfect flooring for hotel space.
115 sqm of Pave Mikonnen Private collection, drawn by himself, have been installed in the community hall. Printed on a gorgeous and glossy high-end cut pile tuft with anti-stain treatment, the pattern imagined by Pave is highlighted by the dark walls and skillful use of light. It immediately makes us think of a frozen lappish landscape under a star-filled night. The perfect modular carpeting solution for this type of space, due to the simplicity of substitution of stained or damaged tiles, and which on top of this benefits from an acoustic absorption rate of 28 dB.
The 430 sqm of corridors has been dressed with PRIMA collection, colours114 and 026, a modern and robust loop pile tuft in tiles which will withstand the traffic of numerous customers with trolley cases while guaranteeing excellent acoustic insulation (25 dB).
